Senior Software Development Engineer Firmware (m/f/d)

Within the BL Connectivity and Security, we are looking for a firmware development engineer for contribution to the development and verification of low-level embedded software for secure micro controllers.

Your Responsibilities: 

• Implementation of firmware modules and stacks based on functional requirements
• Debugging of functional behavior in cooperation with firmware test engineer
• Optimization of firmware modules for limited resource usage, low power consumption and security constraints
• Verification & validation of firmware implementations including test implementation and execution
• Strong cooperation with underlying hardware development project
• Documentation for later external functional & security certification schemes

Your Profile:

• B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Software Engineering, Information Technology or Electrical Engineering or relevant discipline
• Several years practical experience in embedded software development for microcontrollers
• Understanding of embedded software design and verification methodologies
• Understanding of microcontroller architectures
• Software engineering
• Experience in programming languages C, Assembler & Java
• Working in multi-site, multi-national setups
• Eager to learn, open-minded, flexible, team-oriented
• Languages: English full proficiency, German is not mandatory but an asset
