Texas Instruments is looking for a skilled Manufacturing Engineering Technician to join our team, supporting one of our test operations, Burn-In. This technician will impact our operation’s success by working with members across the area to identify and resolve problems.
Responsibilities include:
- Improve system/manufacturing equipment performance to achieve process requirements and eliminate repetitive downs/issues.
- May also perform setup, calibration, and preventive maintenance on production equipment.
- Monitor and analyze all related data to improve/maintain tool performance and address all issues.
- Work with Engineers to process test runs to identify yield problems or test new products
- Perform troubleshooting to determine problems in equipment/Burn-In boards and thermal modules or controllers;
- Dismantles, adjusts, repairs, and assembles equipment/burn-in boards and peripherals/thermal modules according to layout plans, blueprints, operating or repair manuals.
- Provide technical assistance to process development and engineering personnel
- Normally receives general instructions on most work.
Minimum requirements:
- Associate degree in Electronics related field or equivalent training
- 1 year of work-related experience
- Trainings and Certifications in IPC is an advantage and the use of electrical and/or mechanical measuring devices (ie. oscilloscopes)
- Can read and interpret complex electrical schematics, mechanical drawings.
- Work on and repair mechanical / electrical equipment systems.
