Description

Texas Instruments is looking for a skilled Manufacturing Engineering Technician to join our team, supporting one of our test operations, Burn-In. This technician will impact our operation's success by working with members across the area to identify and resolve problems.

Responsibilities include:

  • Improve system/manufacturing equipment performance to achieve process requirements and eliminate repetitive downs/issues.
  • May also perform setup, calibration, and preventive maintenance on production equipment.
  • Monitor and analyze all related data to improve/maintain tool performance and address all issues.
  • Work with Engineers to process test runs to identify yield problems or test new products
  • Perform troubleshooting to determine problems in equipment/Burn-In boards and thermal modules or controllers;
  • Dismantles, adjusts, repairs, and assembles equipment/burn-in boards and peripherals/thermal modules according to layout plans, blueprints, operating or repair manuals.
  • Provide technical assistance to process development and engineering personnel
  • Normally receives general instructions on most work.

Minimum requirements:

  • Associate degree in Electronics related field or equivalent training
  • 1 year of work-related experience
  • Trainings and Certifications in IPC is an advantage and the use of electrical and/or mechanical measuring devices (ie. oscilloscopes)
  • Can read and interpret complex electrical schematics, mechanical drawings.
  • Work on and repair mechanical / electrical equipment systems.

  • Troubleshooting skills on electrical/mechanical systems
  • Work with minimal supervision and adjust to rapidly changing priorities.
  • Self-starter capable of managing own activities as well as supporting team activities.
  • Flexible and capable of handling multi-task operations.
  • Data analysis, problem solving and troubleshooting, communication (verbal and written) with peers, engineering and customers
