Validation & Verification Engineer

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Contribution to designing V&V FW for NXP UWB solutions
• Design & Implementation of Test Automation for System (continuous) Testing  and component (FW/MW)
• Participation in technical reviews and product evaluation to make better solutions
• Work on SDKs, debuggers, and development tools such as UWB Sniffers, Encryption tools etc

Education, Experience & Skills

 Mandatory Skills:

• Bachelors/master’s degree in computer science / Information Technology / Electronics & Communication
• Must have a good understanding of system overview/architecture of networking concepts, OSI model / Layers or any equivalent wired / wireless protocol stack.
• Must have exposure to scripting languages as Perl, Python, Tcl/tk
• Must have experience on using platforms boards, evaluation kits / starter kits, debugging tools as JTAG, real-time debugging with breakpoints, memory dump / corruption analysis.
• Excellent analytical, problem solving, debugging skills & interpretation skills
• Good oral & written communication skills

Optional Skills:

• Good to have exposure to wireless or wired protocol layers, preferably on 802.15.x based protocols or wireless protocol stacks / layers
• Good to have experience to low level firmware programming for embedded systems / low level Drivers
• Exposure to any technology - UWB, 802.15.xx based proprietary protocols
• Any exposure to protocol algorithms, networking algorithms, routing algorithms, security algorithms such as AES-128/256, CCM* (star), CBC mode etc
