Software Development Engineer
The Role:
As a key member of our agile and forward-thinking compiler team you will use your programming skills to develop and improve the low-level and embedded software code with a special focus on AMD processors. Key responsibilities:
- .NET Core performance optimization
- .NET framework library development
- Support AMD architectures hardware intrinsics for .NET Core
- Working with Microsoft .NET engineers optimize .NET core components for AMD architectures such as Zlib, garbage collection, MSIL or .NET encoder
Preferred experience:
- Experience on a professional software engineering team creating technology and building strong code – C#
- Understanding of developing optimizations – JIT Compiler
- Proven record of planning, implementing, and characterizing workloads
Academic credentials:
- Masters or PhD in Computer Science strongly preferred
- Degrees other than Computer Science will be considered with adequate experience and relevant internships and/or work experience
