This position is to provide the project management leadership and oversight of the projects & tasks defined and executed by software engineering team, involving various competencies through product life cycle.
Job Description
- Engages with the product design and software engineering team prior to concept commit, makes the scope and create robust project plan
- Manages the life cycle of the software product from pre-concept commit to mass production, insuring compliance to all the defined quality gates
- Accountable for overall scope, cost, quality, and delivery program
- Creates and implements action plan and fulfillment strategy with the integration team based on input received from software engineering team
- Drives tasks in critical path, identifies risk and opportunities, and makes relative processes
- Communicates and reports program status to secure proper management support
- Ensures that program experience is recorded in knowledge management to improve the future program performance
- Travel is required for domestic as well as abroad
Qualifications:
The candidates meet multiple items as below will be preferred:
- Bachelor’s degree or above in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent
- Great leadership skills and ability to inspire team members
- 3+ years’ experience of program management experience
- Good written and oral communication skills in both English and Mandarin
- PMP/Agile Certified is strong plus
- Experience with Android will be a strong plus
- Knowledge of Hardware and software development process
- Knowledge of DTV, STB, Smart TV and connected App
