Embedded Firmware Engineer for AI Co-Processor

Qualcomm's QCT Application Engineering Group supports customers with all aspects of Embedded software and systems development and enable to launch next-generation wireless mobile devices. This includes assisting OEMs with designs, providing training, debugging, assistance in customizing the software and integrating third party software and hardware modules. We are looking for software engineer with demonstrable knowledge and hands-on experience in Multimedia Audio system and In Linux embedded systems. Major responsibility is to provide direct support to OEMs with the design, development and debug of Qualcomm reference designs S/W related issues and helping to customize software. Candidate must quickly assimilate onto an existing project, understand mobile platform H/W and S/W driver architecture, read/write technical specifications & requirements, demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving abilities and work closely with external customers to customize and launch their new products.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.
• Experience with Multimedia Audio Software and BSP for Android mobile devices.
• Understanding of Linux ALSA architecture, Audio processing Algorithms, TDM/PCM/I2S/PDM/Slimbus/Soundwire Audio Hardware Interfaces, Digital Microphones, Amplifiers and Audio Codecs.
• Experience in using Debugging tools such as JTAG, Trace32 and oscilloscope/Logical Analyzer.
• Experience in Analyzing the Kernel crash dumps and Systrace dumps.
