Embedded Display Software Engineer

Qualcomms Embedded Display Software Engineering Team is looking for a candidate who will contribute to design, development, documentation, and verification of leading-edge embedded display software features for next generation Snapdragon processors in pre-silicon as well as and post-silicon environment.

In this position, you will drive design, coding, testing, integration and continuous supporting of low-level display drivers for various QUALCOMM wireless chipset solutions.

You will be working with all areas of real-time embedded display software with focus on MIPI-DSI, DisplayPort, HDMI, 2D composition, image post-processing and power optimization.

You will be developing software in rapidly evolving environment and delivering drivers targeted for bootloaders and HLOSs environments.

You will work in a global environment with teams and customers that depend on our technology.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.
• Preferred Qualifications Candidate will be familiar with embedded systems concepts, OS concepts (data structures, memory management, synchronization, multi-process or threading) and experience writing in the C programming language.
• Experience with high speed interfaces such as MIPI-DSI, DisplayPort, HDMI or other display interfaces would be an asset as experience with board level debugging and designs.
• Experience in drivers for Android, Windows, QNX on ARM based devices would be an asset.
