Android Multimedia Software Engineer

Job Description

The Embedded Software Engineer is responsible for SetTopBox, Tablet and Media Box SOC Multimedia function and feature for both linux and android solution. He or she optimizes or refines Multimedia HAL to provide the best performance on Google Android platform.

Major responsibilities will be to:

1. Familiar with Android Media Player framework for later on generation(P/Q/R) of Android.
2. Port Multimedia HAL to Android
3. Optimize the embedded system multimedia player for maximum performance
4. Google CTS/GTS/VTS multimedia test module analyze and debug skill
5. Maintain Multimedia player of Linux system

Requirements

1. At least 2 years of experience with embedded Linux software development preferred.
2. Knowledge and experience with Multimedia domain.
3. Strong programming skills in C and C++.
4. Experience with multi-processors programming is a plus.
5. Experience with Android Multimedia framework is a plus.
